My rear projection TV has some of the coating on the plastic screen missing. Is there any way to fix this? - fixing plastic screen on rear projection
The TV has a plastic cover on the screen. I have tried to remove a scratch, and used some plastic polish. The control display is not currently available. Is there an anti-reflective coating that these addresses?

You can use a spare part. What you describe looks like a protection shield. This is nothing more than a piece of Plexiglas, cut to fit on your TV. You can use a piece of matter to Home Depot to get cheap. Adapted to the shape and new.
More than just a Plexiglas. If you look closely you will find groves cut into the front panel and swirly circular markings on the back. This is an important part of optics. It is not cheap to replace!
